Monique Johnson

A small town girl with big dreams and I’m not stopping until I make it! What’s up everyone! I’m Monique Johnson born and raised out of Eatonville, FL (1887 4 life 💪🏽). Where I’m from dreams don’t come true everyday but I was taught to believe in anything that you want and never give up! Growing up I was one of the smartest kids in my hood and I always stood out from everyone else. I was cracked on so much about being smart, speaking correctly, and being light skinned because I was from the hood. 😂 I didn’t care though I always kept pushing and made the normal mistakes growing up as a teen and young adult. I had my first son in 2016 and lost my Nana (grandmother) in 2017. Post partum and grief took over me. I dropped out of college and was serving and bartending at Outback Steakhouse until Covid hit in 2020. I lost my job and honestly I can say that was the best thing to ever happen to me. I started selling clothes/pajamas, lashes, and boxers out of the trunk of my car and that started my entrepreneurial journey. I met my friend Amanda (RIP 😇) who pushed me to start networking and taking my business serious. I also started working at a tax office with a college colleague and decided to take my own business and that seriously. I became a go to for clothes and the top agent at the tax company. Life happened and I had my daughter (who’s 3 now) but she motivated me to start my own tax prep company. She was diagnosed with a rare eye disease and later cancer in the eye. With her diagnosis and treatment I needed to be more flexible so in 2023 I started my own tax prep company. 2024 I added my own team and now 2025 I can say I run a successful tax preparation company. I also love to travel and I’m now a paid content creator. I’m not where I want to be but I’m definitely striving to get there! I just never gave up and always kept pushing myself! I’m still building and starting other projects that I can’t wait to launch. I’m looking forward to share this journey with the world and motivate others to do whatever their heart desires. If you want it make it happen! I’m ready to drink some tequila and start sharing with the people 😂
